STRATEGIC BUSINESS PARTNERship
What got you here isn’t getting you where you want to go.
You've built a successful business. Growing it to $500K+ isn't about doing more, it's about doing the right things, together.
I'm Melissa Rose, Strategic Business Partner to women growing service-based businesses to $500K and beyond.
Let’s be honest about where you are
You've built a successful business.
Your revenue is somewhere around $200K, maybe $250K, and you want to double it. But your growth has stalled, and the way you got here was by doing more offers, more content, and more yeses. And if doubling your revenue means doubling your current workload, um no thanks.
So you’re stuck.
Thankfully, growth at this stage means doing less overall and more of the right things.
NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm Melissa, a Strategic Business Partner.
I’ve run an 8-figure company and helped dozens of service-based businesses grow, and I know what it feels like when your revenue plateaus, you want to keep growing, but you’re unsure about your next move.
My work isn't handing you the next strategy (plenty of people will sell you one of those). My work is helping you see your business clearly: what's working, what's not, and what you really, really want from it, which isn't always the same as what you think you should want.
All of my clients want a business that makes great money and fits their life. Some want multi-million-dollar businesses with big teams. Others want more time freedom and are perfectly happy at consistent mid-six-figures.
We create the one you want.
I love how Melissa initially asked me what I wanted my business to FEEL like.
Accountability to both my big dreams AND the way I want my business to feel while achieving them. She's straightforward, no nonsense, efficient, genuine, honest, and creative with a big picture mindset and the ability to dig into the details too.
I no longer feel like I'm alone.

My Approach
Start With Your Life
Most people build the business first and try to fit their life around it later. That's backwards and it’s how you end up running a business you (kinda) resent.
Before we touch strategy or revenue, I ask what you want your days to look like. How many hours? Specific days? Work you love? Tasks you hate? Spacious summers?
Every decision we make has to be compatible with the life you want.
Find Your Real Goals
"I want to grow my revenue" isn't a goal. It's a wish.
We get specific about how much, by when, doing what kind of work, with how many clients, at what prices.
Specific goals tell us what we need to hit them, which means we can work backwards on how to get there.
Vague goals don't get realized. Clear ones do.
Then Design Your Business
Once our vision is real, we back into everything else: the business model, the offers, the marketing, the systems, the team and how you spend your time.
There isn’t one right way to do any of it, so we design a strategy that fits your strengths and the way you like to work. Then I suggest the order we do things, because sometimes building one asset first means using it to create three other things.
Refine as Needed
This is where most strategies fall apart: execution.
While you are executing the plan, I'm around to provide support. We test, observe, and check in as we go.
Some changes get results right away, while others need more time to bloom.
I’ve got skin in the game.
Most advisors get paid the same whether your business grows or not. I didn't want that, so I built my strategic partnership differently: a $1,300 base rate + 10% of revenue we generate together.
Translation: I earn more only when you make more than you were making before me.
It changes everything about the advice you get. I'm not motivated to sell you another offer, stretch out our engagement, or tell you what you want to hear. I'm motivated by your growth (financial and otherwise). Your wins are literally my wins.
It also means I'm invested in a way that's hard to fake. When you're presenting at a big conference, I'm checking Voxer waiting for an update. After an important sales call ends, I want to know how it went. Once the ink is dry on your book deal, I want to celebrate.
My clients tell me it feels like I'm as invested as they are. That's because I am.
Most of my clients stay with me for years, because a business that keeps growing is so much better with a partner.
Melissa is so much more than a strategic business partner.
She doesn't just understand business, she understands me.
Recently, I found myself in an anxious spiral around something happening in my business, and Melissa was the very first person I reached out to. I knew she would help me think through the situation logically & strategically, and meet me with empathy & genuine care. That combination is rare.
I never feel alone when she's in my corner.
